There are three different membership options with Hamilton CarShare: Regular, Corporate, and Associate.
If you’re joining as a driver, remember to check your eligibility before you apply. The basics you require are: to be at least 23 years old, a full “G” class Ontario license, and a relatively clean driving record (including no at-fault accidents in the past three years).

| This is a driving membership for individuals or households. As long as everyone joining the account has the same address, you can add as many people as you’d like. | This is a driving membership for organizations or corporations, either for-profit or non-profit. Add as many drivers as you’d like to your account, and help your employees make greener commutes by giving them access to CarShare vehicles for work trips. Reduce your company’s need to maintain a fleet of its own. | If you’d like to support the co-op, but don’t require access to vehicles, you can join as an Associate Non-Driving Member. Associate Members often join to volunteer with the co-op, or to invest in the co-op through annual debenture sales. Associate Members also join to show support for bringing a car to their neighbourhood. |
